Way too Long!!

I know everyone it has been way too long since my last post. It has been very busy lately. No excuse right!
Well since Halloween she has grown. At her 4th appointment on Dec 6th Faith weighed 16lbs and 2oz. She was 26 inches long. The doctor said she is the length of a 7 month old. On Saturday she will be 20 weeks old already. On Christmas day she will be 21 weeks old. Hard to imagine that on Christmas last year I was 10 weeks pregnant. Time definatly changes in year.
We started feeding her cereal on November 17th. I spoon fed her from the beginning and she took to it very well. I gave her spoon fed cereal every evening and cereal in the bottle for breakfast. After the 4 month appt the Doctor said we could start feeding her veggies or fruit. So on December 9th we stated feeding Faith green beans. WOW! Faith loves the green beans. She ate them so fast each night. Then we moved on to carrots. She like the carrots but not as much as the green beans. Daddy boils or steams the the veggies and purees them for little miss Faith. Which is nice because our freezer is full of frozen veggie puree.
We put up our Christmas tree and Faith helped somewhat decorate the tree but she likes the lights. She really enjoys watching Nick Jr. All I have to do to get stuff done is put her in her bouncer in front of the TV and put on Nick Jr. and she s a happy camper most of the time. Her favorite shows are Yo Gabba Gabba, Fresh Beat Band and Wonder Pets.
The beginning of December I had to go to Vegas for work, so Faith stayed home with Daddy. Just ask Trevor how that went. Lets just put it that he was really glad I got home.
We are looking forward to her 1st Christmas and can't wait to get a visit from Santa.

Week 14

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been way too long. Is it possible to get even busier? Faith gets bounced around day to day. Going to Mia's, going to grandma's, coming home. Then all over again.
We have been lucky to spend lots of time with Daddy. He loves her a ton. Trevor is even starting to pick out outfits for Faith on his own. So proud!!
On Halloween we went to Uncle Nick, Aunt Caitlin and Cousin Brooklyn's house to join in the Halloween celebration. Faith was able to go trick or treating for the first time and got crappy candy. :( Good thing she doesn't eat it yet. That afternoon she rolled over for the first time. YEA!!! Although that has been the only time. She is getting close though. Slowly she is starting to like being on her stomach. Oh by the way she was on her back and rolled to her tummy.
Not much going on to report on so far other than that. Oh Faith spent the day with Uncle Greg and Aunt Allison on Sunday and she had a blast. I can tell through her smile.
Faith loves walks in the park and lots of love and kisses. She also loves to watch Nick Jr.. Fresh Beat Band keeps her attention and so does Yo Gabba Gabba.

12 weeks

Well it has been 3 whole months already. She loves to look at things and loves her TV. She has been spending time with the grandparents during the week while we work. Good for them bad for us. :(
Nothing else new but she is starting to wear size 2 diapers ALREADY!!!!

11 Weeks

Did you know there were 5 weekends in October? Well when the church told me that the baptism was going to be the 4th weekend of the month, that ment to me the last weekend of the month. But, guess what that was wrong, that makes the 4th weekend this weekend coming up. Soooo that means that can't happen the godparents and one grandpa can't make it. The NEW date will be on my 30th birthday. JANUARY 22nd, 2011. 8am! Please make the change in your calendar. Sorry for the confusion.
Well I am offically back at work full time and wish I was home with miss Faith. :( I am sure I am with all the working moms.
Last weekend we had Grandpa Larry's Funeral service and Party and Miss Faith was able to spend alot of time with the family. She hopped from arm to arm to arm and loved every minute of it. Sorry I don't have any new pictures added but I left my camera at work today.
Faith's milestones- She smiles ALOT! when she lays on a pillow or sits in her carrier she trys to do a crunch or sit up, she loves watching TV, and she smiles at toys :)
Faith sleeps wonderfully through the night if anyone was wondering. She goes to sleep at 9ish and is alseep till 7am ish. I (we) are so lucky!

10 Weeks

Well we are back from San Diego. We had a very eventful last week. I went back to work last Wednesday (that was hard). Trevor wasn't home to be apart of the go back to work fun but he wished he was. Last Thursday night Faith scared the crap out of us. I was washing dishes and turned to talk to Faith who was in her carrier next to me and she was beat red  and not breathing. So I rushed to lean her forward and still not breathing. So I flipped her over in my hand and pounded heavily on her back till she gasped for air. I then got her up and she burped and started wheezing. I then took her to the pediatric ER and they diagnosed her with acid reflux, Which she has had since she was 3 weeks old. We now have to get 2 more tests done in November. The upper GI and the modified Barium Swallow. Now fo the fun stuff. Friday Faith and I flew to San Diego. Her first flight and it was wonderful and smooth. Daddy drovve done and stayed till Sunday morning with us. While we were there Meggs and Jamie came to see Faith. Brooklyn was able to play with Sharlee on the beach (or as Brooklyn says the Birch). Saturday evening Mom, Caitlyn, Nick, Brooklyn, Faith, and I went to the exchange for shopping. When we went to the 2nd exchange we stayed in the car and as my mom and Nick came back Faith decided to poop. As I started cleaning it up, I turned for a second to put diaper in a bag and Faith decided to continue to poop and pee. It got all over!!!! So Caitlyn, mom and I had to get her undressed (mind you this is in the van on a seat). As I picked her up my mom went to pull her pants down and then she decided to spit up all over me, my mom and herself. That was a very messy moment and one we will never forget. All in all it was a wonderfiul trip. Now Faith gets to meet ALOT of family this week for Grandpa Larry's service.

9 Weeks

Well on Friday we had the 2 month appt and Miss Faith has grown!!!! She is 12.3 pounds and 24" long. The doctor said she is the length of a 4 month old. She has to wear 3-6 month PJ's. Saturday Faith spent the morning and most of the afternoon with Daddy. They had fun watching sports and doing Daddy stuff. Today Daddy had to go out of town so miss Faith misses Daddy.
Tonight we went to dinner with Auntie Amee, Grandma, Aunt Kristy and Grammy at Euro Cafe. Faith smiled a whole bunch for everyone to see.

8 weeks old

Sorry I have not kept up on the blog, time seems to slip by. I go back to work next week :( and have to prepare for that. faith has been growing so much. We have her 2 month appointment tomorrow morning. Faith is starting to smile more and more, makes it that much harder to leave her sometimes.
We are offically done with breast feeding, we tried it again but her tummy just didn't like it. :( So now I am on a quest to find a local place to take the milk I have frozen.
Aunt Kristy has come in town and has met miss Faith.
Faith is so lucky so many people just love her. When we go out people come up just to talk to her. In a week and a half Faith will get to see the ocean for the first time!!! I got a carrier for the trip and she already loves it so we are going to take walks on the beach in the morning. She will get to see all the birds flying and the water crashing. Oh she will have lots of fun. Hopefully I will be able to post after the doctors appt tomorrow. Bye for now

7 weeks

well Miss Faith has started to smile. Her smile is just too cute for words.
Daddy had to change his first poopy diaper friday night. We both were so proud of him and guess what he is still alive.
I can't believe she is 7 weeks old so far. She holds her neck up pretty well and she really alert when she is awake.
Last night daddy had to leave out of town and so Faith slept in his spot. She was a good sleeping buddy.

Sept 14th

Well it has been awhile since my last posting. Sorry Guys!
Miss Faith spent the weekend with Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa. While I was able to scrapbook with my mom and Holly. She had lots of fun. She watched the Cardinals game on Sunday too. On Saturday we all went down to see my dad (Faith's Papa) be part of a Sept 11 ceremony. It was very special event. That night Faith slept ALL NIGHT long. 1st and only time she has done that.
Faith is starting to wear only 3 month clothing...... She is getting big! Many New Born clothing are way too small.
More later. We miss Daddy he is in California for a food show.

Labor Day

Well not too much is new. Daddy came home early so he could spend time with Little One. The Baptisim date has changed from Sept 25 to October 30th. Please make note of that change.
She continues to get bigger everyday. We love her so!

5 weeks

Sorry guys, it is really hard to get on everyday to post. Even with help my hands are full. Daddy and Papa are coming home today. Yeah!!! We miss them.
Well faith went to the doctor on Wednesday and she is now 22 inches long. (she grew 1.5 inches from birth) and now weighs 10 pounds 5.5 oz. Our little one is growing. She is sleeping during the night till bout 3 or 4 am.
Mommy has started her non dairy diet yesterday. That is hard! Wednesday I am going to try and breast feed again, then slowly introduce dairy back into diet. If this doesn't work then back to special formula. Do you realize dairy is in almost everything. Sprouts is now my best friend for groceries.

1 month

Well guys, she is a month old as of last Saturday. Wow time flys right. She has her one month check up on wednesday so we will know how much she grown. I do know as of last tuesday she was 10 pounds.
We got her pictures back from the photo shoot at EVIT, and WOW!!!! they were wonderful. I will post a few pictures on the blog but I can't do them all.
Daddy and Papa are hunting and I think Faith misses her daddy. I know he misses her.
Today Faith is spending the day with Grandma Madalyn and Auntie Amee. Lucky her or lucky them, depending which way you look at it. Mommy misses her. This is the longest I have spent with out her so far. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Tuesday Aug 24th

Faith has not been too happy lately! :( She is up most of the day and likes to cry. Which in return makes mom want to cry. I have a phone call into Peds to see what we can do.
Yesterday we went to EVIT and had out pictures taken with couzit Brooklyn. I am very excited to see how they turn out. Faith was actually very good at the photo shoot. We took some nude pics and she peed on me and on the photo shoot floor. She got lots of kisses from Brooklyn though, maybe that made her happy.  We will be using the pictures from the shoot to send out as announcements, so keep your eyes peeled in a few weeks.
Sunday I went to church with my parents and registered at St. Anne's and also got Faith signed up for a Baptisim.
Faith will be baptised on Saturday September 25th at 8am. You are more than welcomed to attend, we will have a small gathering after at our house with a light breakfast. (bagels, donuts and fruit) The God parents will be Nick and Amee.
Got to go, can't take much more crying.

2 weeks and 3 days old

Well she was just sleeping and guess what I get this up and she wake up. So this will be short.
She has been doing good, some nights are more rough than others, but I guess that is part of the package. We have spent lots of time with family and friends. Grandma and Mia have come over, Lisa and Brisa have come over and the cousins Deanne, Marc, Riley and Ryan came over, Papa came over to play, Aunt Holly and Uncle Bob spent some time with Miss Faith and can't forget our favorite Couzit Brooklyn came to play and tickle Faith's feet. :) On Sunday morning Daddy took Faith to breakfast with Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grammy, Uncle Greg and Aunt Allison while Mommy stayed home to sleep. Let me tell you that was hard for Mommy to get used to. I cried! But, after breakfast daddy and Faith spent time at Grammy's. So they had a fun time.

Thursday

Well the last few days have been a little crazy. Faith spit up several times (not just a normal spit up, exorcist spit up) and her belly button bled a little bit. So we went to the pedetrictian and I was told she eats too much. She weighs 9.8lbs on the 11th day old. She also had to get an ointment in her belly button to cauterize it. She was a good little girl.
After that we went to get her newborn screen done and we sat next to another little girl who was a day older than Faith and was 6.6lbs. She was tiny compared to Miss Faith. Faith looked 3 months old compared the other little one. 
We are now spending some time with Aunt Holly and Uncle Bob. Yesterday she spent time with Great Aunt Teri.

Monday the 9th!

The last few days have been filled with many fun and exciting things. Faith met Great Grammy last night! She also had her first pasta family night at the Grandparents. Today Faith came to EVIT with me and met all the new students. But......... Faith decided to have her first projecting spit-up right in moms arms! It got all over! That was an expierence. We have spent the afternoon at Mia and Papa's with cousin Brooklyn. Daddy is on his way over to practice bow shooting.
Oh yesterday, we spent the late morning outside with Daddy while he fished in the backyard. It was a very nice outside. Uncle Rob came to join Daddy in fishing. Daddy caught a catfish, a carp and many little blue gills.

Friday

Sorry guys yesterday was a busy day and the computer didn't enter my hands. Well yesterday we went to peds again for a check up and Faith gained 8oz in 2 days. someone likes to eat!!! Dr. said she looks GREAT! Perfect color and everything. We are proud parents needless to say. Also, Faith lost her umbilical cord yesterday!!!! They said 2 weeks it would take to lose it. So now we can have a somewhat normal bath!!!
Breastfeeding is slowly getting a little easier, thank goodness. But, I still have to give some formula because I am not enough! Oh well.
Today was Grandma day. We started the morning off with Mia coming over and watching Faith while I slept a minute and pumped while Trevor worked and then ended the afternoon with Grandma watching Faith while Trev and I did the same as the am routine. As I write this Miss Faith is kinda sleeping on the couch next to me. She is a noisy sleepier. Anywho, I am ending this hoping to have a good night sleeping, we need it! Thanks again for all your support.

A wonderful night!

We had a wonderful night last night!!!! We got some sleep FINALLY! The doctor advised that we do formula and breast feeding and wow what a difference that has made. I also started the pump last night and this morning woke up with milk filled breasts. Yeah!
Today we got out of the house and went to EVIT and met a whole bunch of new friends. But straight home we went becasue it was way too hot to travel. Not much too exciting happening else today. Having dinner with Trev's parents today. Hopefully more fun stuff tomorrow.

Day 3

Well what a night!!! I was up with Faith ALL night! The 3 of us went to the doctor today because miss Faith had not gone potty, so I guess I have to start giving Faith formula along with breast feeding. Oh well, if it will help her and help her sleep I am all for it. She has lost a few more ounces and is now 8lbs and 7oz.

Last Night's Dinner

Last night both of our families came over to join in the first night home. Both families and trev made dinner and it was just wonderful!!! We had elk tenderloin and I was able to have steak FINALLY cooked right!!! I was a very happy camper.
Faith enjoyed all the love from all the visitors yesterday. She even slept from 9pm to 12:30am solid. That was very nice until she was awake till 6:30am. Today she has finally been a little piggy. That makes me so happy because yesterday she didn't eat.
Today (monday) we ate and slept for most of the day. Mia (my mom) and Brooklyn came and helped so Trev and I could sleep a bit, thank God!!! Right now she is visiting with Uncle Nick and Aunt Caitlin. More to come later!

The Birth of Our Beautiful Young Lady

Hi everyone! Hope you find this pleasurable to read. I am not much for writing, but..... I will do this for all of you that want to keep updated on Faith Rose.
Faith Rose Johnson was born the morning of Saturday July 31st at 6:27am. She was 9.4lbs and was 21 inches long. Let me tell you that was a big baby to push through!!!!
She is perfect in everyway, she has warmed our hearts and has given us FAITH! The 3 of us are home now and trying to get on a schedule. Her days and nights are switched. Oh well we will get it taken care of soon. I hope!!! Back to resting for me so more news later. Thank you all for your support and love through this pregnancy and birth.
